In Atlanta, more & more baseball fans were deserting the bleachers for their television sets. The Atlanta Crackers' President Earl Mann decided that something would have to be done. During the regular screening of the Crackers' game one night last week, the announcer first tried a little gentle persuasion: "If you want the national pastime continued on your TV set, make every effort to get out here at least once in the next few days . . .
