1) Mother Wore Tights (20th Century-Fox)
2) The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer (RKO Radio)
3) Welcome Stranger (Paramount)
4) Life With Father (Warner)
5) Down to Earth (Columbia) Another major grosser: the reissued
Gone With the Wind (M-G-M).
