When Ernie Bevin told off Andrei Vishinsky at UNO last week, and sat down, almost the whole London press stood up to cheer. The lone exception was the Communist Daily Worker.
In France the press gave equal space to Bevin and Vishinsky—except the Communist Humanité, which gave it all to Vishinsky.
The Russian press and radio gave Bevin short summaries or ignored him; Vishinsky got columns. There was no exception.
