Getting specific, he said that Republicans would shove out incumbent Democrats in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Maryland, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Missouri, Wyoming and Montana (which would mean unhorsing such tough, old Democratic mules as Burt Wheeler, Joe O’Mahoney, Dave Walsh, et al.).
