Most famed and photographed member of an Eighth Air Force heavy-bomber squadron is not a pilot but a grotesque little North African donkey. Her name: Lady Moe.
Still only six months old, Lady Moe has been written up in Stars & Stripes. Her pictures have been widely printed in the British press. She is asked everywhere. This week her crowded calendar includes playing a reindeer (if antlers can be found) at the squadron's Christmas party for English school children.
