The Connecticut General Life Insurance Co. last week announced that it was reinstituting the war risk clause (no payment for death in military action or travel). It will write the clause into all new policies sold to men 17 to 26 years old, to members of the National Guard and the reserve forces. This week seven other companies announced a similar clause.
