Among the 30 passengers who escaped unhurt from the flaming crash of a Mid-Continent Airline Convair at Tulsa, Okla. one day last week were Dr. and Mrs. James D. Alway of Aberdeen, S.D., bound for Mexico on a vacation. Dr. Alway had been a pilot in World War I, but it was 49-year-old Mrs. Alway's first airline trip.
