The U.S. has now suffered 49,132 casualties in Korea (see NATIONAL AFFAIRS), the South Koreans roughly 100,000. This week ten other U.N. countries fighting in Korea listed their casualties: ¶ Australia: 48 dead, 209 wounded, 6 missing, 2 captured. ¶ Canada: 3 dead, 3 wounded. tf France: 44 killed, 201 wounded, 3 missing, 126 lost by accident or illness. ¶ Greece: 20 killed, 45 wounded, i missing. ¶ The Netherlands: 22 killed, 72 wounded, 2 missing. ¶ New Zealand: 4 dead, 3 wounded. CJ The Philippines: 15 casualties (no breakdown of killed, wounded, etc.). ¶ Turkey: 298 dead, 450 wounded, 200 missing. ¶ United Kingdom: 145 dead, 442 wounded, 244 missing, 61 captured. ¶ Union of South Africa: 3 missing.
