Five little Governments in ExileBelgium, Luxembourg, Czecho-Slovakia, The Netherlands and Yugoslaviahave recognized the French Committee of National Liberation as representing France. Last week there was evidence that Russia was prepared to follow their example, that Great Britain and China were considering recognition. Only the U.S. held out. Said President Roosevelt in a Bastille Day message to the French: "In the freedom of tomorrow the French people . . . will regain their liberties in setting up a government of their own choice."
