The on-again, off-again romances and marriages in Hollywood give newspaper and magazine editors the willies. They never know when they will be caught cooing over a couple that has stopped billing. When Shirley Temple and John Agar suddenly called it quits, the Detroit Free Press was thus booby-trapped. Its Sunday magazine section, which had gone to press before the divorce announcement but was distributed two days later, pictured the "happily wedded John Agars."
