The U.S. will soon have a new cathedral, California-style. Its cost, announced last week, was unexpectedly modest ($1,100,000). Other features were characteristically impressive. Unique item: a 195-ft.-long painting of Calvary by Polish Artist Jan Styka, said to contain 5,000 figures. Location: the Hollywood-serving, super de luxe convertible graveyard, Forest Lawn Memorial-Park (where it will replace the “Tower of Legends,” a landmark since 1924). Denomination: none.
