For marketing plain sea water at $20 a gallon, $1.25 a glass as a cure for "mineral deficiencies," one Michael Lee of Alameda, Calif. was fined $1,000. Thus ended a thriving business, with $30,000 a year in profits, 200 active sales agencies, and no production costs at all except packaging.
