LABOR: Beauty Struck

Helena' Rubinstein, who operates a highly successful cosmetics business from New York to Bombay and has Prince Gourielli-Tchkonia of Georgia (U.S.S.R.) for a spouse, has probably never heard of Ora Gassaway.

Mr. Gassaway, so far as is known, has never availed himself of any beauty aids. He is a hulking, homely, gold-toothed assistant to the coal miners' John L. Lewis. He is also head of District 50, which is the Gas, Coke & Chemical Workers of the C.I.O. Some weeks ago, Mr. Gassaway's unionists struck Princess Helena's perfume plant for higher wages.
