Last week the 240-year-old Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) announced that it had broken two records: 1) church membership was at an all-time high of 2,174,530 (an increase of 71,238 over the record enrollment of the fiscal year ending in March 1945); 2) contributions in the last fiscal year hit $67,219,476, or $7,610,461 above the previous year's.
