Windsor suffered for weeks from a meat shortage caused by hungry U.S. shoppers. Last fortnight it got their depredations stopped by order of the Government at Ottawa. Last week Windsor asked Ottawa what to do about a new problem: now it suffered from a poultry surplus. Ottawa again raced to the rescue, said it would buy up the surplus.
