No Place Like Home?

Soldiers overseas still dream about home, corner drugstores and blueberry pie, but when they get back, a lot of them may soon find old scenes pretty boring.

A War Department survey last week showed that 40% of the discharged veterans being sent back to civilian life through eastern "separation centers" do not want their old jobs back, do not even want to return to their old communities.

On the Pacific Coast, a survey at one center showed the percentage of men looking for greener pastures to be even greater.
