Murals Vindicated

Sirs:

Please convey to all those who were connected with the story on my work [mural history of Kansas; TIME, July 13] that I am very pleased indeed. In fact, I am more pleased with this publicity than anything I can remember, for the fact that it is a vindication of the Kansas Mural Commission and all who had to deal with the oily oozers, cagey cadgers, and arrogant toads which composed most of the political setup. . . .
