Sirs: [The death notice of Bishop Warren Akin Candlerbrother of the late Coca-Cola king, Asa Griggs CandlerTIME, Oct. 6] reminds me of an incident of the early "Gay Nineties"* in which Dr. Candler figured before he became a bishop, [about the time] Coca-Cola was invented.
