Twenty-two-year-old Playwright Bowers is an ex-"hasher" in a fraternity house.

When not frying eggs for his keep, he installed himself in the living room as a living dictaphone. He has transferred to the stage everything about the "Sigma Taus" except their password and grip: bull sessions, pledge-thwacking, dating up girls, getting drunk, getting sick, getting hangovers, getting one of the girls in trouble.
