New York Timesman Cyrus Sulzberger reported from Moscow that the Nazis are using Russian Orthodox prelates in Occupied Russia, that the clerics set up an autonomous church, have expressed "admiration" for Adolf Hitler's "heroic struggle," pray "to the All Highest to bless Axis arms with victory." In unoccupied Russia the loyal church denounced the schism, promised expulsion of the renegades.
