Back from a secret mission to London, where he had been sent by Secretary of the Navy Knox, Colonel William Joseph ("Wild Bill") Donovan wrote a series of articles on Hitler's undercover storm-troops which were enough to make a U. S. citizen's eyes pop. Collaborating with Donovan, who once commanded the famed "Fighting 69th," now practices law, was Foreign Correspondent Edgar Mowrer.
