On the strength of data gathered last autumn from 25 leading nations, Geneva’s International Labor Office announced last week that world unemployment had decreased for the fourth successive year. Exclusive of the U. S., Russia and Italy, the figures placed unemployment at 4,660,000, compared to 5,451,000 a year before. The statistics for leading nations:
