When Col. Clarence Marshall Young resigned last spring as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Aeronautics the new Administration abolished his job. His work was divided among five men under Assistant Secretary of Commerce Ewing Y. Mitchell who admittedly knows nothing about aviation.
