Sport: Women's Squash Racquets

Until four years ago women did not, officially, play squash racquets. A few inveterate sportswomen like Eleonora Sears of Boston pioneered whenever they could get on a men's court. Clubs around Boston, where Miss Sears is an influence, began to let women use their courts. In Manhattan women play on the Junior League and Colony Club courts; out-of-town courts are available for them at Ardsley Swimming & Racquet Club (Ardsley-on-Hudson) and at Nassau Country Club and Rockaway Hunting Club on Long Island; in Chicago they play tournament...
