"A good woman" is what everyone calls Mrs. Lucy Baldwin, wife of the Conservative Party's leader. In her Stanley's rise to the Prime Ministry (1923-24; 1924-29) she observed "the hand of Divine Providence." If David Lloyd George would switch his Liberal Party into coalition with the Conservatives instead of supporting Laborite Ramsay MacDonald, Mr. Baldwin might become Prime Minister again tomorrow.
