A new aid toward keeping song-publishers aware of their trade’s tendencies is to post scouts who listen, day in, night out to radio programs broadcast from Manhattan, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, listing the tunes that are played. Last week’s “most popular” tunes as tabulated by Shapiro, Bernstein & Co. of Tin Pan Alley, Manhattan:
