Work Done. The Senate of the U. S. last week:

¶ Passed (45 to 23) a bill for Government operation of the Muscle Shoals power plant.

¶ Passed a bill to put all U. S. employes, except postal workers and printers, on a 44-hour-per-week basis (present basis: 48 hours).

¶ Passed a bill requiring publishers to supply the Post Office Department with more detailed information as to the ownership of their newspapers and magazines.
