¶A delegation of New Yorkers called on President Coolidge to ask him to speak at memorial services in Manhattan on Nov. 2, President Harding's birthday. Mr. Coolidge replied in effect: "Gentlemen, I won't say ' Yes ' or ' No.' You shall decide for me.
