Chicago 3,048,000
Philadelphia 2,008,000
Detroit 1,290,000
Cleveland 960,000
St. Louis 830,000
Baltimore 808,000
Boston 787,000
Pittsburgh 637,000
San Francisco 567,000
Buffalo 544,000
Washington 528,000
Milwaukee 517,000
Los Angeles belongs in the group, but the Census Bureau declines toguess at her growth. She had 576,000 in 1920.
