Foreign News: Campaigning in Canada

The date of the general election in Canada being only a month away (Oct. 29), it seems ever more probable that the slim, dark and solemn Mr. Arthur Meighen will supplant the jolly, red-cheeked bachelor, Mr. William Lyon Mackenzie King, as Premier.

Hope for Premier King and the Liberals still lies in the West (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta). It depends upon the "third party," the Progressives, who dominate the far prairies.
