Foreign News: At Balmoral

To Balmoral Castle, where the late Queen Victoria was wont to indulge a "homespun taste for Scotland," journeyed British royalty to spend the weekend. Tenants, servants, and "gillies" on the Balmoral, Agergeldie and Birknall estates were bidden by their Britannic Majesties to a ball. The King's own piper, Major Forsyth, was in attendance; and, "as an interested spectator," came the Archbishop of York.
