LITHUANIA: Baltic League

Representatives of Esthonia, Latvia and Lithuania met at Kovno (Kaunas), capital of Lithuania, for a discussion of political and economic problems facing these three states, situated on the Baltic Sea and formerly in Russia.

It was stated that the principal agendum was the formation of a definite entente among the Baltic States to safeguard the territorial and political independence of each and to provide for common action in case of armed aggression.
