The gold reserve plus foreign currency held by the Esthonian Govern-ment amounted recently to 2,461,500,000 emks, while the money in circulation was only 1,844,000,000 emks, thus showing a reserve of 616,500,000 emks, or 33⅓% over the note issue.
The value of the emk, as quoted recently at Tallinn (formerly Reval) capital of Esthonia, was 347 emks to $1.00.
