The age of 16 is usually associated with girls in an international indoor pastime rather than in outdoor sports. Miss Aileen Riggin has altered the conception by winning the all-around senior aquatic championship of the country for women. In the past season she won the fancy diving championship (from a four-foot board), swam on the winning 400-yard relay team, and was runner up in fancy diving from a ten-foot board, and the free style swim at 100, 220 and 500 yards, the back stroke at 150 yards, and was third in the 50-yard free style. She is 16 years old.
