Yale won the intercollegiate polo cup with comparative ease, defeating Princeton in the final match, 12 to 3. The old Meadow Brook formations, which have won international matches on occasion, were played to great advantage by the Blue four. Baldwin and Muir played decidedly brilliant polo. The latter was offered a place on the Meadow Brook team for the summer tournaments as a result of his work in the intercollegiate matches. Every member of America’s international team with the exception of Tommy Hitchcock was present at the final. Immediately after the match the University of Arizona challenged. But Yale declined the offer owing to the extensive difficulties of the Southwestern trip.
