Emigration to the United States is reviving rapidly. Many steamship agencies formerly represented in Vienna are once again opening their doors.

The classes most eager to emigrate are former Austro-Hungarian army officers, discharged civil servants, skilled factory hands and thousands of well-educated young women previously engaged in war work. Agricultural laborers, miners, etc., are not seeking to leave their country.
