Musician Eric Rosser intended to die in Bangkok, the "City of Angels." Here, the former piano player for faded American rock star John Mellencamp found a haven. He had an attractive Thai wife, a young son, a luxury apartment and what he once described as the best gig in town: playing piano at the century-old Oriental Hotel's Bamboo Bar.
