Ohio A high-profile rape investigation is widening to include an alleged cover-up. On Nov. 25, four employees of the Steubenville school system, including its superintendent, were indicted by a grand jury investigating the 2012 rape of a 16-year-old girl. The new charges involve a second rape allegation, from a 14-year-old. The case has unsettled the hardscrabble city ever since the lurid details drew national attention. In March, two members of a high school football team were found guilty of rape. Now educators stand accused of obstructing the inquiry or failing to report child abuse. “While this started out being about the kids,” said state attorney general Mike DeWine, “it is also just as much about the parents.”
