As a young country-music star, McCready scored 12 hits, including “Guys Do It All the Time.” But personal problems–drug and alcohol abuse and run-ins with the law–overwhelmed her career. On Feb. 17, a month after her boyfriend apparently took his own life, it seems McCready did the same. She was 37 years old and leaves behind two sons.
