E-tail made its largest inroads ever this holiday season

Traipsing around crowded shopping malls to fulfill loved ones' wishes can bring out our inner Grinches. No wonder more and more shoppers are forgoing long lines at packed stores to shop from home instead. Online holiday sales rose 15% vs. last year, compared with only 4% for brick-and-mortar stores. Consumers are now doing a third of their holiday shopping online, according to an International Council of Shopping Centers poll.
