For three decades, it has been one of Hollywood's biggest mysteries. In November 1981, Natalie Wood, star of West Side Story and Splendor in the Grass, drowned in waters off California's Catalina Island, near the yacht she had been aboard with her husband actor Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken. Her death was ruled an accident. On Nov. 17, the L.A. County sheriff's department announced it has reopened the case on the basis of new information. Detectives offered few details, except that Wagner is not a suspect.
