Cuba's Freedom Songs
Nathan Thornburgh's "The Sound of Change" arouses indignation in those who know the real Cuba [Dec. 8]. Not once does he mention the words "communism" or "dissidents." How is it possible, in an article about contemporary Cuban music, not to mention Gorki Aguila, a very famous musician who recently spent time in detention for his opposition to the Castro regime? This article showed a sophisticated bias, giving gentle treatment to a tyranny while roughly handling the U.S.
