Shades of citrus are ripe on the runways. It's the go-to hue this summer

The economy may be dreary, but the fashion forecast remains bright. Last season's monochromatic gray trend is fast fading from memory as orange emerges to punch up summer wardrobes. The sunny hue first appeared on Miuccia Prada's fall 2007 runway, and then Raf Simons picked it up for his spring 2008 collection for Jil Sander. Now orange is turning up on everything from Pucci's new sunglass collection to Furla's braided-handle tote and Louis Vuitton's modernist cuff.
