Mark McGwire's got the day off Thursday, leaving Sammy Sosa all alone at the plate in an afternoon left-coaster (5:05 ET ) in San Diego. With Sosa coming off a grand slam Wednesday night and facing a Padres starting pitcher who's won only one game in the big leagues this year, the betting here is that Thursday's the night when Sammy's 64.
