Russian President Dmitry Medvedev explains an historical painting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez at the Russian president's residence outside Moscow. In the painting, titled "The Appeal of Minin" by Konstantin Makovsky, Kuzma Minin, a 17th century leader, urges the people of Nizhny Novgorod to organize a volunteer corps to fight against foreign invaders.
