Library assistants pose with Scotland's oldest surviving book, a pocket-size Book of Psalms, at the University of Edinburgh. Dated to the 11th century, the book was most likely produced at the monastery of Iona, and probably commissioned for a figure of some importance such as St. Margaret, Queen of Scotland.
