There's so much good-humored verve in Lois & Clark that it's a shame to admit that SeaQuest, with its New Age earnestness, is a more inviting place to spend early Sunday evenings. Take away the levitation effects from Lois & Clark and you've got a strained knockoff of Moonlighting. Even when SeaQuest's engines bog down on the ocean floor, the crew can at least shoot the breeze with the dolphin.
