Speaking of fascinating, Weisz is hoping she'll make the final cut of ultra-enigmatic director Terrence Malick's still untitled 2012 film; she also appears in Tony Gilroy's reboot of the Bourne series (due in August) and just wrapped production on Sam Raimi's Wizard of Oz prequel Oz: The Great and Powerful, in which she plays the Wicked Witch of the East. "It's family, for everyone--scary, but G scary," she says.

She's finished her bowl of ramen, and it's time to pick up Henry from kindergarten. The Oscar winner and bride of Bond expects to breeze in like any other parent, no stalkerazzi lurking outside. "Pretty cool, eh?" she says with evident pleasure. "I mean, touch wood--I shouldn't tempt fate, right?"
