Best Fans Ever — NFL

Two of America's biggest passions are the NFL and silly sitcoms. So this Super Bowl ad, featuring commercial sitcom characters showing their love for the NFL, is a sure crowd pleaser. We see Marcia Brady getting nailed in the nose by a football — she's wearing a San Diego Chargers shirt — the Fonz in his Green Bay Packers gear, crowing, "It's a beautiful day for anything and everything," in that Fonz way of his, and Jerry Seinfeld wearing a New York Giants shirt, greeting nemesis/neighbor Newman, in a Dallas Cowboy hat, at the door. "Hello, Newman," Jerry sneers. Even Alf is sporting a Carolina Panthers shirt. Clips from dramas like The Sopranos — Tony and Co. in Jets paraphernalia — and The Dukes of Hazzard — see the Atlanta Falcons flag on the General Lee? — also make it in. Throughout, viewers hear the theme from Dallas, site of the 2011 Super Bowl. Call it a beautiful play.
