SlutWalks Go Global

CAPE TOWN — A woman carried a cheeky sign in August during a so-called SlutWalk, along with about 2,000 provocatively dressed protesters. SlutWalks were held across the world this year as a campaign against the notion that a woman's appearance can excuse sexual attacks. In other words, they marched against the idea that a woman has it coming if she dresses promiscuously.
